The following resources are bundled in the AUV Workbench and don't need to be downloaded.

• Gnuplot plotting program at http://www.gnuplot.info (also available: MacOSX distribution)
• Apache Ant utility at http://ant.apache.org and Maverick Ant ssh/sftp task at http://3sp.com/showMaverickAntTask.do
• jEdit editor at http://www.jEdit.org
• NetCDF Java Library at http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software. NetCDF is a machine-independent format for representing scientific data.
• OpenMap toolkit for geospatial information at http://www.OpenMap.org
• Smack Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP, also known as Jabber) client library for instant messaging and presence. Available at at http://www.igniterealtime.org/projects/smack

The following resources need to be downloaded and installed separately to support AUV Workbench capabilities.
