Initialize

public static void Initialize(double pSourceDepth,
                              double pSoundSpeed,
                              double pFrequency,
                              double pTotalDepth)

This method initializes NormalMode oject.

Parameters:

pSourceDepth - Depth of normal mode calculations.

pSoundSpeed - Speed of normal mode calculations.

pFrequency - Frequency of normal mode calculations.

pTotalDepth - Total depth of normal mode calculations.

calculateAmplitude

public static double calculateAmplitude(int mode,
                                        double z)

Calculates amplitude by giving the mode and z.

Parameters:

mode - The normal mode.

z - Double of the normal mode calculations.

Returns:

The result of the calculation of normal mode.

calculateKr

public static double calculateKr(int mode)

Calculates by giving the mode.

Parameters:

mode - the normal mode.

Returns:

Math.sqrt of the normal mode calculation.

calculateKz

public static double calculateKz(int mode)

Returns the result of calculation giving the normal mode.

Parameters:

mode - the normal mode.

Returns:

(mode-.5)*Math.PI/totalDepth.
