Log4j Logging utilities.
For the time being, this class utilizes log4j utilities but it may be changed to java.log.util in the future!

Method Detail

configureLog4j

public static boolean configureLog4j(String resource)

This is a utility to configure the Log4j logger. If requested configuration file can not be read, the default behavior will be to use BasicConfigurator and set the debug level to INFO.

Parameters:

resource - The resource name to configure the logger with.

Returns:

true if successful, false if failed to find/use the file

configureLog4j

public static boolean configureLog4j(String resource,
