public abstract class Dictionary
extends Object

Maps specific words to parts of speech using a Hashtable. Extensions to this class should map specific context free grammar terminals to their producing variables (e.g. if there is a CNF rule of the form A -> b the terminal symbol b should be mapped to an integer representing A). It is advisable, but not required, to use extensions to this class to define an integer enumeration for all production symbols of the CFG Enumeration ordering is probably best to place terminals last to facilitate the CYK algorithm. At least it makes the production rule set slightly more readable.
